INSTRUMENT FOR
MEASURING PARAMETERS OF MICROWAVE FERRITE ARTICLES, TYPE EM6-25.

The instrument was designed
for measurement of FMR linewidth of ferrite disks, rectangles and
triangles, metallized ones included.
The instrument gives way to fix the value of magnetization current
which permits to evaluate the saturation magnetization of ferrite
samples.
The main characteristics of instrument:
- range of FMR linewidth measurement: 1...80 Oe;
- operating frequency: 1250±50 MHz;

- error in measuring ΔH
does not exceed + 10%;
- OD of tested disks - 5 to 30 mm at OD to disk height ratio no
less than 10;
-accuracy of magnetization current fixation - no worse than + 0,1%.
The instrument comprises three functional blocks:
- measuring unit including microwave transmission line and electromagnet;
- indicating device providing the processing of FMR signal and measurement
of FMR linewidth;
- power supply unit that includes AC and DC power amplifiers.
For operation of instrument, it should be equipped with high-frequency
generator working at 1200...1300 MHz with output power no less than
1 mW and frequency stability no worse than + 1.10-4.
Mains: 220 + 22 V; 50+ 0,5 Hz.
